New General Conference Dates

It is time for General Conference again. This is a wonderful time to be strengthened spiritually. It is important to take the time to prepare for conference and to set aside time to listen to General Conference. You can begin to prepare your family now for General Conference. You may also want to make arrangements so that you can attend all of the sessions.

Young Women have the General Young Women’s broadcast every spring. This year the meeting will be on Saturday March 24th. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. You can view the conference at your stake or ward building. You can also watch the broadcast on BYUTV or stream it at www.lds.org. If you live outside of the United States it may be rebroadcast at a later date. Mothers are encouraged to attend with their daughters.

The general sessions of Conference will be on March 31,2007 and April 1, 2007. The day sessions will be at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight time. These sessions can be viewed at your ward building, or streamed over the Internet. You can also watch General Conference on BYUTV. Many local cable providers also show conference as a public service. Your local leaders should know if this is available in your area. Additionally the talks should be available to read, view and download to listen to a short while after conference.

It is also important that you encourage the Priesthood holders in your family to attend the General Priesthood meeting. This will be held March 31, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. This session is available to view at your local meeting house. It is not usually broadcast on additional stations, though the archives will be available with the rest of conference. This is a great bonding time for fathers and sons.
