New Gigs for Donny, Demi and Leo

He recently turned down a TV hosting job in the United States… and now we know why.

Donny Osmond is heading overseas to pick up where his brother Jimmy left off. The “Puppy Love” singer is reportedly set to star in the British reality TV show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” The entertainer is said to be close to inking a deal with the U.K. show for new episodes, which will air later this year.

The show is similar to “Celebrity Survivor” (which Osmond also starred in); only the British version follows stars as they camp in a desert rather than on an island.

Somehow I don’t see Demi Moore signing up to be a contestant.

The actress probably couldn’t even if she wanted to given her heavy workload. The raven-haired beauty is currently hard at work behind the camera making her directorial debut.

Moore was chosen to participate in Glamour magazine’s fourth annual “Reel Moments” series, which highlights several short films directed by A-list stars.

Moore’s flick reportedly features “Hairspray” star Brittany Snow, who raved to reporters about her “down to earth” director pal. But Moore isn’t the only actress to take a turn behind the “Reel Moments” cameras; Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow are among other high paying Hollywood actresses who have made shorts for the series.

Finally, fans of Leonardo DiCaprio have reason to celebrate today. Word has it the “Titanic” star is headed back to the big screen. According to British newspaper The Sun, the handsome actor is reportedly in talks to play Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin in a new movie.

DiCaprio is said to be in negotiations to take on the leading role in the forthcoming film “Lenin’s Brain,” a flick that he is said to be very passionate about. According to reports, the silver screen epic will be directed by Russian moviemaker Alexander Der Borodyansky, who insists DiCaprio is perfect for the part because of his striking physical resemblance to the communist politician, who died in 1924.
