New Twist in Jamie-Lynn Spears’ Pregnancy—Who’s the Daddy?

Maybe it’s a slow news week, or perhaps, some tabloid reporter just wanted to sell more rags… or maybe, just maybe, it’s the TRUTH.

Either way the latest rumor being spread around Tinseltown is that the father of Jamie-Lynn Spears’ baby is not Casey Aldridge, but a much older guy who used to work on the teen’s TV show, “Zoey 101.”

According to the supermarket tabloid Star, Lynne Spears is paying Aldridge to make like he impregnated her 16-year-old daughter to mask the baby’s real father’s true identity.

Oh, and it gets better… or worse depending on how you look at it.

The tabloid claims the reason Aldridge is taking the fall for Jamie-Lynn’s untimely situation is that he’s getting paid “a ton of money for keeping his mouth shut.”

And the reason Mama Spears wants to hide the identity of the baby’s alleged real daddy is to avoid an under-age sex scandal starring her precious little girl. The Star suggests the man who impregnated Spears could face jail time if he confesses that he took advantage of the teen.

Star magazine quotes “two separate Spears family insiders” who believe the father is someone who worked with Jamie-Lynn on Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101.”

The source adds, “In Hollywood, little girls grow up fast, and she is no exception. With everything that has gone on in her family, she needed someone to look up to.”

As for Aldridge, if he is indeed the father of Jamie-Lynn’s offspring he would escape jail time because in Spears’ home state of Louisiana a 16-year-old can legally have sex with a person less than two years older.

These new reports come days after Brit’s younger sis confirmed she is 12-weeks pregnant with Aldridge’s baby. Though, according to Star, Jamie-Lynn is closer to 16-weeks pregnant, but announced she is three months along to throw off the press.

That girl is going to be dogged by the media from now until she gives birth so I doubt there is any chance that providing a false due date is going to fake out determined paparazzi.

Do you buy into the whole baby daddy mystery?
