The Nickelodeon is celebrating its 23rd annual Kids’ Choice Awards (KCAs) on March 28th. Now, I will have to watch because Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) will be hosting, but others will be watching for different reasons.

Some may tune in to see if Chris Brown wins and if he shows up. Brown has been nominated for Favorite Male Singer and for Favorite Song (“Kiss Kiss”). However, since he has been charged with a felony for beating up girlfriend Rihanna, many fans thought his nomination should be revoked. An online petition had 2,166 signatures, but Nickelodeon officials said today that Brown was nominated and will remain on the ballot. Whether he wins or not remains to be seen. He is up against Kid Rock, Jesse McCartney, and T-Pain in the Favorite Male Singer category. Rihanna is nominated in the Favorite Female Singer and is also up against Brown for Favorite Song.
Now others may tune in to see all the other entertainers that will be on the show. The Jonas Brothers, last year’s winners of the Favorite Music Group, are set to perform. And yes, they are also nominated again for Favorite Music Group. Two lucky winners of the Jonas Jam Sweepstakes will get to go down the Orange Carpet with the band in addition to getting to stay in LA for 4 days, winning $1,000, and getting to ride in a limo.
If the Jonas Brothers aren’t exciting enough for you, High School Musical’s Zac Efron and Twilight’s Robert Patterson will also appear as will Miranda Cosgrove (“Drake and Josh” and “iCarly”) and Nat and Alex Wolff (The Naked Brothers Band).
If you are a mom or dad forced to watch this award show with your young ones, note that PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive Hugh Jackman, Amy Poehler, and Reese Witherspoon will also be on the show.
