Twins!
One of the moms from my scrapbooking group recently gave birth to healthy twin girls. I finally got to meet them last week. They are much tinier than I had anticipated, but are still cute as can be.
Despite being overwhelmed by the constant feedings and diaper changing, the twins’ mom is doing something I would never consider attempting three weeks post partum: She’s piecing together the twins’ first scrapbook.
She received a ton of baby-themed scrapbooking supplies during her shower, but I didn’t think she would get crafting so soon after giving birth. Apparently, she doesn’t want to miss recording a single milestone. Currently, she is gathering quotes to add to various layouts. Some top picks include:

Once she gathers all of her inspirational sayings, she plans to add them to page designs in a variety of ways. My favorite one of her ideas is to repeat the quote across plain cardstock to create one-of-a-kind paper. You can employ this technique on an array of themes, including weddings and anniversaries.
Another unique way to incorporate quotes on a layout is to print them on vellum and place it over a photo. Or, if you have a short quote, consider using rub-on letters to add the saying to an empty spot on the page. Short sayings could also be spelled out using letter stamps or stickers. If you don’t want to stamp the quote on your background paper, simply add it to a piece of ribbon or tag and attach it to the page.
