I have a long list of resolutions this year. I have big plans for 2013 and know that there will be many life changes along the way. At first glance my list of resolutions might be a bit overwhelming. There are a lot of positive changes I want to make in my life, but instead of tackling them all at once, I am going to focus on them one at a time.
First and most importantly, I am going to work on finding joy in the here and now. I have a lot to be grateful for and while I spend most of my time being overwhelmed and dreaming about the future, I’m ready to be happy in the moment. I’m going to spend more time just me and Logan and less time on the less important things in life. Once I’ve done that other things will start to fall into place.
I want to find balance in my life. This won’t happen overnight. I’m juggling a fair amount on my plate right now. It can be difficult to find time for all the little things throughout the day, but this is my goal. My priorities are in order, now I just have to find a way to carry them all throughout the year without getting too burned out in the process.
I’ve got a lot planned for this year. I’ve got my goals hanging on the wall as a constant reminder of who I am and where I want to be going. I’ve got a plan to reach them and I’m looking forward to crossing them off one thing at a time. Regardless of whether or not I reach them perfectly this year, I know that I have a direction I’m headed. Even one step forward is closer than I was yesterday, and that’s all that really matters.
