Oven-Fried Turkey Cutlets
“Frying” these cutlets in the oven makes them much healtier and there are still super tasty!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb turkey breast cutlets
3 tbs water
2 tbs lemon juice
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tbs freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp crushed dried oregano
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Spray a shallow baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place turkey cutlets in a medium bowl. Cover with water and lemon juice.
3. In a shallow bowl combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and garlic powder, then mix well.
4. One at a time, take cutlets and dip into crumb mixture, turning to coat both sides of cutlets.
5. Place in prepared pan. Spray each cutlet lightly and evenly with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes, or until lightly browned and done. Serve hot.
