Now that I have three children, ages six years old and under, I really appreciate being able to shop online. Of course, I still like to get a good sale or a deal.
I’ve only ever shopped at Overstock.com once, and that was about two months ago. We needed some drinking glasses, and we got a really great deal. Not only were the glasses on sale, but I was able to use a 30% off coupon as well. The glasses arrived in perfect condition.
Because I had such a good experience with Overstock.com, I continue to monitor their deals. Currently, they have a pretty good one, although they are keeping it mostly a secret. They are having a huge closeout sale (isn’t it weird that an overstock company has its own closeouts? I mean, where does their close out stuff go?) promising 40- to 80% off.
Shipping is $2.95, no matter how much you buy, so that is a good motivation to stock up on the things you might need.
One of the highlights of the Overstock.com closeouts includes a 4GB nano for $169 (it normally retailed for $249). So, if you need a nano for the beach, now is your chance. I always borrow my husband’s nano to go for walks in the morning. But, since he keeps deleting my playlists, I might just have to get my very own. There are plenty of iPod accessories, too.
There is also tons of jewelry, from a cute 10K Citrine Diamond pendant for $49.99 to a massive bling-bling engagement ring for $4,099.99 (original retail is more than $9,000). And if you are looking ahead for the holiday season, check out the selection of men’s watches.
Serious scrap bookers will find a professional grade paper cutter by Martin Yale on sale at 54% off.
For little guys, there is the cutest 2-piece shortalls set from Little Me. The outfit is on sale for a mere $12.99, 66% off of the regular price of $38. Little Me stuff is pretty durable, so if you sell your baby clothes when you are done with them, you’ll reduce that cost even more.
All in all, there are 352 pages (21,000 items!) of closeouts to browse at Overstock.com.
To check them out for yourself, just go to the website and type in the words “email closeout” in the search box. You can’t get to the closeouts otherwise.
