Own a Piece of Your Favorite TV Show

How big a fan are you of NBC’s “The Office?” Have you ever dreamed of seeing your husband in Dwight’s shirt or coveted Pam’s purse or, perhaps, wondered what it would be like to walk in Jim’s shoes. Don’t watch “The Office?” Okay, what about “Heroes?” Have you ever drooled over Claire’s latest ensemble or wished you could wear Hiro’s watch?

Well, wish no more. All of the aforementioned items could soon be yours… if the price is right.

In what is being called an unprecedented opportunity to own gear from hit primetime shows, NBC is launching a live online auction at NBC.com of select items from some of it’s top shows, including “Heroes,” “30 Rock” and “The Office.”

The online auction officially got underway Monday. It features props, wardrobe items and other rare collectibles that were seen during episodes of popular NBC shows. Some of the standout items up for bid include three original paintings that were seen on “Heroes,” Michael Scott’s (Steve Carell) Timex watch and Hawaiian “Convention” shirt from “The Office,” and a poker set used by the main cast of “30 Rock.” Other items on the auction block are Tim Riggins’ (Taylor Kitsch) jersey, a signed football by Zack Gilford and a mega phone signed by Minka Kelly as well as Danny’s (Josh Duhamel) signed Letterman jacket from “Las Vegas.”

Talk about a great place to do some holiday shopping. And if owning a piece of your favorite TV show doesn’t prompt you to open your wallet perhaps it would help to know that a portion of the auction’s proceeds will benefit the United Way.

You can view a complete rundown of what is up for sale by clicking here. But, don’t wait too long to get your bids in, the auction ends on December 3rd.

Be sure to leave a comment if you are the lucky one who gets to walk away the proud new owner of that lovely Hawaiian shirt that once graced the back of Steve Carrell.
