Pam Anderson + Tommy Lee = Happy Kids

Nearly a decade after Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee told each other they were the scum of the earth during their bitter divorce, the long haired duo are back together again.

It’s no joke.

“We’ve only given it a try 800 times – 801, here we go,” Lee tells Rolling Stone in its latest issue. “Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It’s awesome. It’s definitely working.”

For now anyway.

Actually, I shouldn’t be so pessimistic. After all, even Anderson and Lee’s friends say that the couple are “so happy together” and by all accounts this latest reconciliation has a good chance of lasting more than just a few weeks.

“They are two people who have been through a lot and know each other really well,” says one pal.

According to the 45-year-old Motley Crue rocker, no one is more thrilled that the former couple has reunited than Lee and Anderson’s two sons Dylan, 10, and Brandon, 12.

“You can tell on the kids’ faces,” Lee told Rolling Stone. “They’re happy when we’re together.”

And who can blame them?

Since splitting with Lee, those two young boys have had to watch their 40-year-old mother remarry and divorce twice. Her first remarriage was to Kid Rock (that lasted all of four months) and her most recent union was with Rick Salomon (that marriage ended in a record breaking five months). I’m sure those boys are just delighted that their mom has stopped saying, “I do” to her flames-of-the- month. And to have her settle down (again) with the person who is actually their dad—talk about relief.

Providing stability and consistency for the sake of their children… is it possible… could it really be that Anderson and Lee might finally be growing up?

I suppose only time will tell.
