Recently I met someone special that I simply adore. I wanted to let him know how special he is to me, so I decided to create a special album just for him. I find that mini albums are often a great way to show you care and can not only be fun to make, but a lot of fun to receive. After thinking about it, I decided that the easiest and best way to create the album was to make a simple paper bag album. The size was perfect and it fit right into my budget.
It took me two days to complete the album and I cannot wait to give it to him.
In the meantime, I am planning albums for all three of his daughters, letting them know how special they each are as well.
I thought I’d share some examples and teach you how to make one as well. I hope you like having a sneak peek before he does!
The photos used in all three parts of this article are from another album I created several years ago. However, the journaling samples are from the current album.
Creating a paper bag album is easy and it’s a great way to give a gift that says you care.
Since I’ve begun making paper bag albums, my friends are always looking closer to confirm they are really made out of paper bags. Why? Because after I’ve added all the papers, ribbons and embellishments, these beautiful, but simple gifts, look nothing like a sack lunch.
It’s really very simple to create one of these little wonders. But first let me show you an example, and give you some ideas for an album of your own.
