Now that Paul McCartney has finally settled his bitter $48.6 million divorce from second wife Heather Mills he is turning his attention to his one true love—-his cherished first wife Linda.
In honor of the photographer, singer and animal rights activist the former Beatle is planning to release a coffee table book he says he hopes illustrates his devotion to his beloved late wife.
Linda McCartney died in 1998 after losing her battle with breast cancer.
According to reports, McCartney will “share lots of intimate moments” of his life with his “best friend” in the book, which will be released to mark the 10th anniversary of Linda’s death.
Friends of the singer say creating the book has been “therapeutic” for McCartney, who most agree has yet to fully get over his wife’s passing. Others say the book has been a welcome distraction from the public brouhaha surrounding his nasty split from Mills.
News of the book launch coincided with the recent opening of an exhibition of Linda’s photos at a gallery in London. The show is the first time most people have been able to view the late photographer’s work since her death.
While McCartney works on his book tribute to Linda in England, singer Nick Lachey is hitting the books half a world away.
Okay, maybe the former boy bander is not exactly bookworm material, but he is headed back to high school.
