Peaches and Cream
2 pounds fresh peaches
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons Amaretto
6 1/2 tablespoons half-and-half
Nutmeg, grated
Drop peaches into boiling water. Simmer for 30 seconds. Remove peaches and cool. Remove pit, skin, and then slice. Place peaches with remaining ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, and then chill. When ready to serve, sprinkle on grated nutmeg.
