Vanities
A vanity is a great option for adding storage in the bathroom. While a vanity does take up more floor space and hides away the hardware, the additional storage is a big plus for many homeowners. It’s also simpler to install double sink basins in one vanity than it is to install two separate pedestals, if you need more than one sink. The added counter space also offers room to place additional decorative accessories in the bathroom. Another good thing about using the vanity style is that you have the option of choosing a great piece of furniture to use as a vanity. Cutting simple holes for the sink basin, pipes, and water lines to install the sink, or having someone else do the work, will allow you to use almost any piece as long as it’s the appropriate size. You might find a gorgeous antique cabinet, or an elegant contemporary piece that would make the perfect vanity. Top a contemporary piece with a gorgeous bowl sink and it will look like a piece of art.
