Personalize Your Business

Having a new business requires taking the time to get our name out there. A term commonly used is branding. Like any other business, I want you to remember my business and recognize it when you see it. I also want to build a reputation and one which says people are people and not simply numbers. As an event planner, it is essential I get to know the person to tailor make their event and anticipate their personal preferences. One way I have found to show my lovely clients appreciation is through thank you cards.

Since part of my business is etiquette training, I must be certain that everything I do is precise, proper, and personal. Thank You cards are by definition personal and must be treated as such. One way I have expressed thanks to sponsors, clients, and talent who perform at my events is through personalized Thank You cards. My cards are personalized in two ways, 1) They must have my business name on them. 2) They must be handwritten and specific. Etiquette rules dictate that Thank You cards are never to be typed or sent in mass production. Each card is personally written specifically thanking the person for their contribution or for their business. To further make my Thank You cards unique and personalized, I have my company’s name on the front of the card. The Invitation Box allows you to pick out a theme and customize as you need. The quality of the cards is undeniable and the variety is unreal. Regardless of the event, I can find the perfect Thank You. In addition, I can find the perfect invitation for the events I plan from birthdays to baby showers. I may just have to send a Thank You to the Invitation Box for making me look so good!

This may seem like a small thing and something that cost may dictate you overlook but I implore you to think differently. I have had many compliments on the cards and many have expressed gratitude for the personal touch. The best clients become friends and in a small business friends make all the difference. I say that sincerely and not as a means to an end. I enjoy the personal relationships I have and honor those. It makes business fun and more family in feel. The by product will be word of mouth endorsements and lifetime clients.
