In Koalas: Moving Portraits of Serenity, by animal expert Jack Hanna, Joanne Ehrich, and Australian Koala Foundation executive director Deborah Tabart, you will find 315 amazing photos of Koalas by 120 photographers. Koalas are very cute, but I have heard that they can be quite nasty. Anyway, they are an endangered species, so please support this book by Koala Jo Publishing. ISBN 0976469804.
Cool Places to Warm Up in San Francisco is a full-color art book flaunting San Francisco’s individuality through the great photography of Laura Dorothy Haertling. Published by Hot Studio. ISBN 0977390004.
Two books that I own and highly recommend are: Ballooning, The Complete Guide to Riding the Winds by Dick Wirth and Jerry Young; and Wild and Beautiful Glacier, by Chuck Haney and John Reddy. Ballooning is a history and photos of hot air ballooning, with a foreword by Dick Francis, the former fighter and bomber pilot turned author. Random House Publishing, ISBN 039451338.
Wild and Beautiful Glacier is a photo compilation of Glacier National Park photos by photographers Chuck Haney and John Reddy. I met them at a photo workshop back in 2001. The book has some awesome photography, and both of them signed my copy. Farcountry Press, ISBN 156037165.
