From weddings to graduations, birthdays and family reunions, the month of June is packed with prime photo opportunities. This week I dedicated a series of blogs to these special occasions and how you can best document the cherished memories that unfold at each. I also reviewed some of the hottest new digital cameras on the market and once again lamented about the bygone era of film cameras.

Simply follow the tips listed in this blog and you’re sure to snap winning shots that can be keepsakes for the bride and groom (and you) on what will likely be a day to be remember for years to come.

June 11th—–Documenting Family Reunions. If you are the family historian then you know how critical it is to use these large gatherings as the perfect opportunity to document (via photos) history in the making. Reunions are ideal picture taking events and you can make the most of your time together by keeping the simple tips listed in this blog in mind before you point and shoot.

June 12th—–What else the Digital Era has Eliminated. Are you still clinging to your trusty film camera? If so you might want to read this blog, which details the growing number of camera companies that are doing away with their standard cameras and going all digital.

June 13th—–Your Dad’s Photo on the Cover of a Magazine. If you are still looking for a unique photo gift to give dad this Father’s Day you might consider putting your pop’s photo on the cover of a magazine. Several photo shops and even some select retail stores offer photo development services that add a little flare to that ordinary photo you planned to frame and give to dad this Father’s Day. Find out the details in this blog.

June 14th–—A Picture Perfect Day Courtesy of a Perfect Stranger. Find out how an ordinary day turned extraordinary for my family thanks to the kindness of an avid photographer we had never met before.
