Ever since my grandmother was admitted to the hospital I have been desperately trying to create unique photo inspired art projects to brighten up her sterile room. This blog provides directions on how to turn headshots of your loved ones into colorful, festive flowers that will last longer than the real ones.

October 31st—–Fancy Photo Flowers. This blog offers a twist on the photo flower project I detailed in my pervious article. It involves a bit more time and effort, but the end result is worth it. November 2nd—–Seasonal Photo Projects. With less than three weeks until Thanksgiving and about 6 weeks until Christmas my creative juices are flowing. This blog details a couple of my favorite (because of how easy they are to make) photo projects. And the best part—your kids can even get in on the action.

Michele Cheplic was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii, but now lives in Wisconsin. Michele graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Journalism. She spent the next ten years as a television anchor and reporter at various stations throughout the country (from the CBS affiliate in Honolulu to the NBC affiliate in Green Bay). She has won numerous honors including an Emmy Award and multiple Edward R. Murrow awards honoring outstanding achievements in broadcast journalism. In addition, she has received awards from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association for her reports on air travel and the Wisconsin Education Association Council for her stories on education. Michele has since left television to concentrate on being a mom and freelance writer.
