Pineapple Nut Cookies
These tropical cookies won’t last!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
l cup Shortening
2 large Eggs
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 tsp baking soda (stirred into pineapple)
1 tsp salt
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
5 cups Flour
DIRECTIONS:
1. Blend sugars and salt with shortening. Add eggs. Beat in.
2. Add pineapple which has soda mixed in it. Stir in flour a little at a time.
3. Add nuts. Drop from spoon on greased sheet.
4. Bake at 350 for 8 – 10 minutes.
Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
