How many times have Michele and I started a blog with “Well, they said it wouldn’t last…and it didn’t!” This time, I am talking about motocross racer Carey Hart and his soon to be ex-wife Pink. The couple has decided to end their union after a mere two years. The singer and the racer met at the 2001 X Games in Las Vegas. She proposed to him four years later while the couple was at a race in Mammoth Lakes, California. A January 7, 2006 wedding followed in Costa Rica.
But, now the good times are over. Today, Pink’s rep Michele Schweitzer said “This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”
