Playing the Blame Game: Jessica Simpson’s Parents and Grandmother of Octuplets

Jessica Simpson’s parents say they know who’s responsible for making their daughter “look” fat: Her stylist.

According to reports, the singer’s parents are “extremely upset” about the vicious skewering their precious daughter has endured since unflattering shots taken of her at a recent concert surfaced.

Jessica’s dad Joe has nothing but praise for the way his daughter has handled the fat jokes hurled in her direction. Conversely, he has nothing but ire for Jessica’s stylist.

According to Joe Simpson, Jessica’s alleged “weight gain” has more to do with bad styling and poor photography than a purported relationship with Ronald McDonald. The elder Simpson also notes that Jessica’s weight hasn’t changed much in the last few months despite stories to the contrary.

“She’s a normal girl and like everyone fluctuates a little but there is no way she gained that much weight,” a source close to Simpson told reporters. “It was a really unflattering outfit and a really bad angle. You look at photos taken of her just a couple of weeks earlier and nobody said anything about weight gain, now all of a sudden she’s considered fat. Not possible.”

Some reports speculated that the country music singer’s plumper figure is a result of problems with her football boy toy Tony Romo. Various tabloids have been reporting that the Dallas Cowboys QB has a wandering eye (and other body parts). But, sources close to Romo say he’s very protective of the blonde songstress and has been more ticked off about the fat taunts than Jessica.

Regardless of how much she weighs I don’t think you can argue with the fact that her double belted, high-waisted, bra-less outfit was hideous.

Moving on…

The mother of Nadya Suleman, the 33-year-old who gave birth to eight babies last week, is blaming her own lack of procreating for her daughter’s obsession with children.

Angela Suleman says her daughter always wanted siblings, but never got them.

“She always blamed me for only having her,” Angela Suleman told reporters. “She was a single child and I used to take her everywhere so she would have a lot of friends around of her own age group but I guess it didn’t really help.”

Ya think?
