Hit me baby one more time.
It’s semi-official: The girls from “Sex and the City” will be reuniting on the big screen yet again.
At least according to Kim Cattrall.
The actress who played Samantha in the HBO series and this year’s mega-successful “Sex and the City: The Movie,” confirmed to British news reporters that a sequel is in the works.
The 52-year-old actress revealed that she is “thrilled” to be giving the fans what they want.
“The fans keep saying, ‘Yes, one more,'” Cattrall told reporters. “The movie was so much fun to do and be part of again.”
“Sex and the City: The Movie” has grossed more than $150 million domestically and $260 million internationally since its release earlier this year.
Oh great… so will Big and Carrie split so they have material for a sequel?
A SPLIT THAT WORKS
Wow! Talk about a great parting gift.
Earlier this week acerbic “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell confirmed that he and his girlfriend of six years, Terri Seymour split.
Apparently, Seymour wanted to get married and start a family with the British music mogul, but Cowell was totally against the idea. Instead of compromising her dream, the 34-year-old entertainment reporter reportedly phoned Cowell and broke it off.
The snarky reality TV judge has insisted all week that he harbors no ill will towards Seymour and still considers her his “best friend.” To prove it sources close to the couple told Life & Style magazine that Cowell recently presented his former lover with a jaw-dropping $9 million gift.
According to the tabloid, Cowell reportedly gave Seymour $5 million in cash and an extra $4 million to buy a home in Beverly Hills.
Sources tell the magazine: “Simon thinks the world of Terri, and that isn’t going to change. He also understands her reason for ending it.”
Geez, $9 million for sticking with him for 6 years… can you imagine what she could have walked away with if she hung around for another four more years?
