Prince Harry Makes the Most of His Early Return from Afghanistan

No sense in crying over spilled milk… at least that’s Prince Harry’s philosophy since a media leak sent him from the frontlines of the war on terror back home to England nearly two months before he was ready.

According to British news agencies, the handsome prince has swapped a tent in the desert, which he shared with unshowered comrades for a tent on a houseboat with his gorgeous Zimbabwean girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

Today’s British papers are plastered with photos of the couple’s waterborne hideaway in Botswana. The pics include captions that speak of the prince’s hasty romantic retreat.

You’ll recall it was just last week that the young couple reunited at Prince Charles’s Highgrove country estate following Harry’s early return from Afghanistan on March 1st.

Last Thursday the same papers ran photos of the 23-year-old’s leaving a friend’s home in London’s Chelsea neighborhood before reportedly heading back to his home, Clarence House. This was after Davy drove 185 mils south from Leeds where she is a postgraduate law student.

I guess they are officially a couple again.

And it appears the drive was worth it given that after visiting family and friends for a couple of days the pair jetted off to their favorite south African retreat. According to British papers, the prince and his gal pal have spent the last couple of days getting up late and making their own breakfast on a small gas cooker before cruising the waterways of the Okavango Delta, home to crocodiles and hippos.

No word on when Prince Harry and Davy will return from Botswana, though it will likely be prior to April. That’s when the rest of Harry’s Blues and Royals regiment will be returning from Afghanistan and palace officials already said the prince will “most definitely” be on hand for the occasion.
