Princess Plays in her Birthday Suit

It wasn’t Bea in the buff; rather it was her younger sister Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and Prince Andrew who was recently caught frolicking in the buff with her school chums.

According to Britain’s The Sun, the 18-year-old princess was busted at her posh boarding school in Wiltshire, England, after a night out at a local pub with her school friends. (The legal drinking age in Britain is 18.)

The paper reports that Princess Eugenie and her pals were celebrating the end of the school term and decided to shed their clothes (and apparently their inhibitions) at their all-girl Marlborough College campus.

“A senior member of staff was woken up by playful shrieks and discovered around a dozen pupils dancing around in their birthday suits under the midnight moonlight,” the paper reports.

The school classifies the girls’ naked night antics as “a bit of innocent fun” and gave the princess and her pals a “wrist slap” for their part in the incident.

Princess Eugenie has studied at the $50,000-a-year school for the past five years and reportedly has never so much as raised an eyebrow in terms of her extracurricular activities.

A friend of the princess tells the paper that the whole scene went down about three weeks ago and nothing more came of it.

“Most people have been involved in some sort of hijinks while at school,” says the pal. “And most people don’t get to read about their antics in the papers.”

Then again, most people aren’t members of the royal family.

Or perhaps the school is to blame. Marlborough College is the elite secondary school that Prince William’s proper gal pal (and rumored soon to be fiancée), Kate Middleton, attended before she met the future king at St. Andrews University in Scotland. It’s also the same place where the usually reserved Middleton was allegedly caught mooning fellow classmates out of her dorm window.
