Are you having a Happy Father’s Day? I hope you day is a great one for you and your family. We are having a very low key day here today, but it will include a shopping trip to Sears at the request of my husband. Hmm, to celebrate our special day (Mother’s Day for me) I think spa, and he thinks Sears. I guess that is what makes us different.
Just in case you are running a little bit behind on the gifts, you can check out one of several websites that allow you to print Father’s Day cards and other related printable projects. There are plenty of different designs to choose from, so take your pick!
Father’s Day Boxes
You have read about The Toy Maker website before. Here is a great project for dad. Just print, cut along the lines and glue for a great little box that could hold a surprise inside. Create six boxes and you can stack them up to spell “Dad.” www.thetoymaker.com/Holidays/Fathersday/DADBOX.pdf
Father’s Day Bingo Cards
You can have the kids make dad or grandpa his own set of Father’s Day bingo game. Print the cards onto heavy paper or card stock and then laminate them for extra durability. Visit DLTK for this project. www.dltk-cards.com/bingo/bingo1.asp
Father’s Day Cards
Here is a wide range of unique Father’s Day cards. You can print them out with a quarter fold or a half fold and customize the text to be just the way you want it. The tutorial gives you step by step instructions for creating your card. Just add an envelope, and you are all set to go. I like the card with all of the sea life. These cards are available from Printfree.com at www.printfree.com/printable_fathers_day_cards.htm
Enjoy!
