Printable Toys

Have you heard about printable toys? There are one of the nice ways to take advantage of your computer, your Internet connection and your printer to create hours of fun and enjoyment all for free. You simply print, cut, glue and play. it is a great way to use your computer to spend some time with the kids “unplugged.”

One of the absolutely best websites for free toys is The Toymaker. Marilyn Scott-Waters, the toy maker, herself, has dozens of beautifully designed toys to delight young and old alike. She has them so nicely categorized, too. There are whimsical toys, toys that move, toys that teach math and other skills, and even gift boxes to make for special presents. And if you get tired of the toys (not likely), you can print our cards and stickers.

These aren’t the “cheap” stickers and cards that are slapped up on the Internet using stock art and clip art, either. Each toy or printable is hand designed and shows plenty of thought and artistry. The colors are amazing.

Be sure to check out the Anxiety Dream Theater. Its cleverness will show you exactly what caliber of printable toys you are dealing with here.

Make losing a tooth special with the tooth fairy gazebo. Hmm, do you think Marilyn would build me a life size one of these for my own backyard?

As you can guess, there are plenty of fairy and fantasy toys to make any little girl’s room special, but don’t forget to check out the other offerings, such as the bear wagon, bunny bowling and the various puppet theaters. You could spend half a day with the kids, until your floor is littered with paper scraps and covered with dozens of new toys.
