Priscilla Presley Victimized by Dr. Jiffy Lube

While Elvis’ former wife was concentrating on her footwork on the set of “Dancing with the Stars” her rep was busy responding to questions about Priscilla Presley’s face.

The actress, who is trying to tango her way to the finals on the current season of the popular ABC dance show, has recently been named as one of the victims in a botched cosmetic procedure case.

The man behind the mess is Daniel Serrano a.k.a. Dr. Jiffy Lube. He earned his notorious nickname for injecting industrial-grade silicone used to lubricate auto parts into women’s faces—–including Presley’s.

And that’s only half the story.

It turns out Serrano, who claimed he was a licensed doctor, was actually a nurse who targeted wealthy women. His other famous clients included Shawn King, Larry’s wife, and Diane Richie, Lionel’s wife at the time.

According to reports, Serrano claimed his injections worked better than Botox. However, in November 2004 federal agents found out differently. A formal investigation revealed that Serrano was smuggling the non-approved drug into America from Argentina and selling it for cash. Tests later showed that the drug he was injecting into Hollywood’s elite was a combination of synthetic collagen and tiny solid beads that left some clients with holes in their faces and paralysis.

The phony doc was eventually indicted for smuggling drugs, conspiracy, and using unapproved drugs. Serrano was convicted and sentenced to 18 months in federal prison. He is currently being investigated by federal immigration officials, and could be deported.

As for Presley, her rep maintains: “Ms. Presley dealt with this matter years ago and everything is well.”

She might not feel the same way after she sees the scathing shots some tabloids have been taking at her.

“What’s Up with Priscilla’s Face?” and “A Masked Mess” are just some of the headlines tabloids have been running over pictures of Presley’s face.

Have you seen the former “Dallas” star’s face lately? What do you make of the brouhaha?
