The Safeway ad for this week has four Progresso soups for $6. That’s a decent price by itself. But I have so many Progresso soups left over from the Albertson‘s promotion over the summer, that a decent price isn’t enough. It needs to be a great deal for me to buy more. This one is.
Use the link below to print out coupons from Betty Crocker. These are time/date coded so you can’t print out dozens, but you can print out a couple per day or a couple per computer per day. They’re Buy One Get One Free coupons for the Progresso. Now they’re .75 each. Please note: have your printer set up and ready to go because it’s one of those automatically-printing things. If you have a firewall set to high, you probably can’t print it; you’ll have to adjust your protection or use another computer.
.75 a can is a great price, right? It’s a very good price, but I’m frugal. How can it get better? Buy more! If you purchase four or five, you get a coupon for $2 off your next order. Buy six or seven, and it’s $3. But buy eight or more, and it’s $4. So, to recap, the sale price is $12 for eight cans. Use four coupons printed from their site, and it’s now $6. Receive $4 toward your next order, so your real cost is .50 per can. That’s a great deal.
I love Progresso soups because they have real food in them. dh wasn’t hungry tonight, so we had ‘hodge-podge’ – which means, get it yourself. I had the Progresso vegetable soup. It’s hearty, but low calorie and good for you. I also love their split pea. The only one we haven’t cared for so far is the minestrone. That went straight to the church food pantry after the first can! At fifty cents a can, you afford to try them all.
