Put Trust in Your Mate

In a last article I began discussing how the world can sometimes make you worry or question your relationship. Although you think that you have a good marriage, the tales of cheating can sometimes make you wonder if there are things that you do not know.

The only thing that you can do is trust. In order for your relationship to remain healthy you must completely and fully trust your mate.

It is likely that at some point in time you or your mate may be faced with a proposition by a member of the opposite sex. Whether it is a small flirt or a forward approach, you both must trust that your love is strong enough to withstand any temptation that comes forth.

Without trust a relationship can go downhill fast. Constantly wondering and worrying about if your mate is faithful can drive one completely insane. Your mind can become consumed with all types of ideas of things that could potentially happen.

If you have reason to suspect that your mate may be unfaithful, communication is the best approach. Come out and ask your mate the questions that you are having. Discuss the things that are making you feel unsecure in the relationship. Talk about how these things can be dissolved.

In order for your relationship to be at its best you must feel confident that both of you are trustworthy persons. You must believe that your love is a special bond that cannot be broken. Unfaithfulness and divorce are neither a thought nor an option.

When these two things do become a possibility is when marriages go bad.

If you do have a partner that makes you happy and you are in a good relationship, be thankful. Instead of being troubled the next time that you hear those in the world talking about mistrust and cheating, go home and give your mate a tight squeeze.
