Yesterday we went to Going Bonkers, which is an indoor climbing and arcade play zone about an hour from our house. The fun began before we even reached the venue. We drove through so many storms just getting there. We’d drive through a calm rain-free area and directly into a downpour. Thankfully we arrived safely and got inside without getting wet. Jessie was excited to carry her own little ladybug umbrella.
We had a great time playing and there was no rain when we left to go to the car. We went straight to McDonald’s to pick up a Happy Meal with apples for Jessie to eat on the way home. We drove to Whataburger for my lunch because it’s so much better than McDonald’s. I need to remember that there’s a McDonald’s by the Whataburger; I always forget it’s there.
There was no rain on the way home so we went to Super Target to pick up some groceries. When we finished shopping and everyone went potty, we decided to go next door to Kohl’s. I found the perfect frames for the pictures we’d just had taken at JCPenney. They were two for one and I had another 15% off coupon. I also got Daddy a new electric toothbrush. The current Kohl’s Cares promotion is Llama Llama Red Pajama and Llama Llama Misses Mama. Jessie chose a stuffed Llama Llama.
We left Kohl’s and it was sprinkling. By the time we got to the car the heavens had opened up and we were getting soaked. I hurried to open the car and have Jessie climb into her seat. I ran to the other side to grab an umbrella and get the baby in. Somehow Baby E didn’t get too wet.
I got soaked trying to get everything in the car.
