Reese Witherspoon is officially off the market. Witherspoon and her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, married last Saturday at her ranch estate in Ojai, California. Witherspoon, 35, began dating Toth, 40, in February 2010 and the couple became engaged last December.
Witherspoon, who was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe, wore a pale pink Monique Lhuillier gown with Jimmy Choo platform sandals while Toth wore a Rag & Bone suit. Also in attendance at the ceremony and reception were Witherspoon’s children (Ava and Deacon), Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and wife Susan, and Alyssa Milan with her hubby, David Bugliari.
Jackie Chan wants all his fans to know one thing – he is not dead. It seems that every so often, a “dead celebrity” rumor starts and the most recent one was about Jackie Chan (after the one about Charlie Sheen of course). Chan wrote on his Facebook page that he is “alive and well” and busy getting ready for his next movie. The rumor was that Chan suffered a heart attack and was posted on several social network and news sites. To further squelch the rumor, Chan posted a March 29th photo of him posing with Japanese officials. Chan was in Japan to discuss Love Without Borders 3/11 Candlelight Gala to help the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
And oddly enough, one celebrity who we have not heard a lot from this week is Charlie Sheen. Of course, there is still a bit of Charlie news for those feeling completely lost without some. Sheen has tour dates in NYC but it seems that he is not welcome at many of the swank hotels there. Sources say Sheen is not welcome at The Plaza, the Waldorf-Astoria, or the Trump Soho. Sheen also tweeted “Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDog, @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheeius within!” Could Sheen be making music with Snoop Dog and Rob Patterson soon? Only time will tell.
