Yes, it’s the day after New Year’s and for many of us that means heading back to work and the regular day-to-day activities that may have slipped over the last couple of weeks of the year. That means taking along your new year’s resolutions and putting them into practice as you get the kids back off to school, you return to work and other activities begin again.
Consider the Following
Ladies, consider the following as you try to blend your new resolutions in with your regular activities and you begin to change your shopping and activity habits – a new study demonstrates that women resolve to get fit and eat right as well as to lose weight at least four times per year.
The New Year’s may be the most publicized time, but 71 percent of women surveyed stated that they make up their minds at least twice a year and 37 percent recommit to losing weight and improving their fitness at least four if not more times during the course of the year. There are a multitude of reasons why women resolve again and again – and it’s more than acceptable to renew your vows to lose weight, eat right and stay in shape.
You need to eat a variety of foods including fruits, vegetables, lean protein, whole grains and dairy products. Also, look to maintain a moderate level of physical activity. Whether it’s a daily walk, keeping track of your pedometer steps or getting involved in activities like yoga and more.
It may be difficult to maintain the time to devote to a moderate fitness program or activity level, but it’s important to do your best and to embrace a lifestyle that lets you fit exercise and fitness in wherever and whenever you can.
How will you amend your lifestyle to match your resolutions?
