I promised you some information on the restaurants available at the Grand Floridian and while I’m late, better late than never. Here is a look at the restaurants available at the Grand Floridian. Even if you do not stay at the hotel, the restaurants themselves are worth checking out during your next Disney World visit and stay at a Disney World resort.
- Victoria & Albert’s is considered the dining centerpiece of the Grand Floridian. It’s also a very fancy, elegant restaurant and if you’re looking for a place to dress up in your fine clothes for a beautiful evening with a chef selected meal – this is the place to do it
- Citricos is another upscale restaurant and the menu is pretty pricey. It’s a good experience, but save it for the romantic treat for you and your spouse
- 1900 Park Fare is a great restaurant, bright and airy with American cuisine and a buffet style serving. You’re also treated to lots of Disney characters including Mary Poppins!
- Narcoossee’s is a beautiful waterside restaurant that offers seafood, chicken and steak and whether you are looking for indoors or out, it’s a great place to eat
- Grand Floridian Café is the casual dining setting at the Grand Floridian and you can find plenty of down home southern cooking on their menu including the tasty treat of fried pickles; don’t knock it until you try it
- Gasparilla Grill and Games is open 24 hours for the family that gets back late from the theme parks or gets hungry in the middle of the night – you go in and take out burgers, chicken, hot dogs and ice cream
I can personally vouch for the 1900 Park Fare as being a great place to eat and to enjoy the atmosphere. The room service at the Grand Floridian is also pretty spectacular, if pricey. There’s also a wonderful Afternoon Tea served in the Garden View Lounge where you can enjoy scones, crumpets and berries with tea, champagne or other drink of your choice. The tea lasts from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Have you eaten at any of the Grand Floridian restaurants?
