Have you taken up the challenge to reuse at least one thing every week? if you are having trouble, just pretend that you are stranded in your home and cannot get out to buy anything new. What do you have that can make do in place of something you might have normally purchased?
Let’s continue with our reuse ideas.

Honey: If there is just a little drop left in the jar, don’t toss it out. Honey can be use as an emergency antiseptic for cuts and scrapes. Its anti-bacterial properties will help your cut to stay germ free. And if your honey comes in those cure little bear jars, save them and use them for sand art.

I don’t have anything here on my list. Do you?

Jars: Oh boy, there are so many things you can do to reuse a jar. Baby jars can store small items, such as nuts and bolts. And, they can be made into baby jar crafts. Fill them with wax and a wick and make your own candles. If the jar isn’t glass, fill it with beans or rice, screw the lid back on and you have an instant musical instrument for a child. Reuse your food grade jars and glass jars for storing home made food, such as soups, cookies and more. Jars can also be used to drink out of. Where do you think those cute mason jar glasses came from? People have been using jars for years for their beverages.
Juice cans: Use a juice can as a pen and pencil holder. Freeze water in a can, then use a nail to punch holes, making a design. Drain the ice, add a candle, and you have a nice votive holder. Large juice cans can be used to pot indoor plants. Use the can as a scoop for pet food, flour, sugar and more.
