I’ve used Glade Plug Ins in the past, but I have been curious about the Glade Fan. I’ve been planning to try it, and I recently found a good deal. I found a package on sale that included the fan, the scented oil, and an extra refill for around $6.00. I decided to try the Fresh Linen scent. It is a nice, clean scent, which I prefer to fruity or flowery fragrances.
I thought the Glade Fan was a really good idea. Plug Ins work better in small rooms and don’t do much for large rooms. I figured that having the fan to circulate the fragrance would make a big difference, and it did.
At first, I wasn’t sure how well it was working. I had gotten the oil on my hand when I was putting it into the unit. Even after washing my hands -twice- I could still smell it on me, so I wasn’t sure how well it was permeating the room.
Soon, my daughter walked in and said, “Something smells good. What is that?” I pointed out the Glade Fan, and she said she wanted one for her room. About an hour later, she changed her mind, saying the fragrance was just too strong. I had the Fan set on the lowest setting, but it was still overpowering.
I tried unplugging it, but then you couldn’t really smell it at all. The Fan is definitely what does the trick. I tried moving the unit to a less prominent location, and now the fragrance is just right. It’s strong enough to detect, but subtle enough to enjoy. Now my daughter wants one of her own again.
I think the Glade Fan is a good product, and worth the price. You may have to make some adjustments as I did, but I think you will be pleased with it.
