Salma Makes Like Princess Diana and Miley Makes Like Oprah

After repeatedly denying on Oprah that she planned to legalize her relationship with billionaire boyfriend Francois-Henri Pinault, Salma Hayek is making two things very clear:

Yes, she will be marrying Pinault before her daughter’s second birthday and yes; it will be one of the most spectacular ceremonies the world has ever seen.

Only most of us will likely only see pictures of it… if we’re lucky.

Sources close to the couple say Hayek will marry her baby’s father in a massive five-day-long wedding ceremony in Pinault’s native France. Expenses for the St. Tropez ceremony are estimated to exceed the $3.5 million mark.

According to reports, the couple will tie the knot next spring and fly their guests in on private jets; put them up in luxury resorts; spend $500,000 on a wedding dress and more than $1 million on flowers.

Forty-six-year-old Pinault is the head honcho of fashion houses Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and Balenciaga and reportedly spent more than a year trying to convince Hayek to marry him. He finally succeeded last year shortly before the actress gave birth to the couple’s daughter Valentina in September 2007.

Now that he got Hayek to agree to be his second wife, sources say Pinault doesn’t want to spare any expense. Reports quote friends close to the couple as saying, “Francois basically gave her the key to the vault and said, ‘Go wild.’ He wants her to feel like a princess on the day they get married.”

MILEY MAKES LIKE OPRAH

Can Miley Cyrus get more popular (or richer)?

The actress/singer is already a millionaire and has zillions of tween fans around the world, but it appears she doesn’t plan to rest on her laurels.

Cyrus is reportedly in discussions to launch her own teen talk show.

According to Star magazine, the “Hannah Montana star” recently met with Tyra Banks during a trip to Nashville, Tennessee to discuss plans for the model turned TV talk show host to produce a younger version of “The Tyra Banks Show.”

The magazine reports that sources close to the project say “Tyra sees Miley’s potential as a TV talk show host.”

Would you let your kids watch a talk show hosted by Miley Cyrus?
