If things don’t work out in the world of politics Sarah Palin can always cash in on the myriad of job offers coming her way from Hollywood.
The 44-year-old Republican governor of Alaska turned vice presidential candidate has been the recipient of dozens of recent high profile job offers, including one from Playboy boss Hugh Hefner, who has repeatedly asked the mother of five (and soon-to-be grandmother) to strip naked in the famous men’s magazine.
I’m pretty sure the famous hockey mom put that offer on ice… at least for now.
Another offer on the table for Palin comes courtesy of Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. She recently invited the often-parodied politician to join the sexy girl dance group if her election campaign falls short of the White House this fall.
Scherzinger says she is convinced the former Alaskan beauty queen has what it takes to join the female singing and dancing group.
According to Scherzinger, Palin seems like “a headstrong woman, a tough chick… and she’s hot.”
Especially in her hooker heels.
Finally, what is considered the most legitimate Hollywood job offer that has come Palin’s way might actually pan out for the entire world to see.
In an interview with reporters, Lorne Michaels, the longtime executive producer of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” which has scored huge ratings this fall thanks to Tina Fey’s dead-on impersonation of the Republican vice presidential candidate, said viewers may soon be seeing the real Palin on the peacock network.
“All in good time,” a cagey Michaels said of the persistent rumors that Palin is planning to meet her look-alike impersonator, Fey during an upcoming “Saturday Night Live” skit.
Yesterday Michaels told reporters that while he wasn’t actively seeking Palin, McCain campaign aides did call him after the first skit when Fey’s Palin appeared with Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton (on the show’s September 13th season premiere) to say they enjoyed it.
Adding to the rumor mill is Palin herself who told reporters on Tuesday that she’d love to appear on the show with Fey.
“I love her, she’s a hoot and she’s so talented,” Palin said. “It would be fun to meet her, imitate her and keep on giving her new material.”
What do you think of a Palin-Fey on-air meeting?
