There is nothing I love more than saving time, and if it saves me money too, that makes it even more wonderful. I thought I would share with you some of the things I love that make my life just a teensy bit easier.
Do you hate the way your shower curtain gets hung up on the rod every time you open or close the shower curtain? I used to hate that too! Then I found these nifty little shower curtain rings that have ball bearings in the top, the shower curtain slides smoothly now! Why didn’t they think of these things years ago?
In the morning when I go to pull either the curling iron or the straightener out of the basket under the sink, it always pulls the other hair appliance out with it, this was frustrating, but what’s a girl to do? Enter the amazing curling iron, straightener in one! It’s amazing, move the little button and it becomes what it was not, now there is more room under my sink and things don’t fall out on my toes when I’m getting ready in the morning.
And finally, a rice cooker. I have no idea how I loved forty some odd years without one. Oh, yes I do, we never ate rice. I always burned it or it was too dry or something so I just didn’t make rice. This little appliance is amazing, you just put the rice and water in it, real rice, not minute rice, turn it on and it cooks without you watching or stirring it. Then when it’s done, it keeps it perfectly warm and ready until you are. Even if dinner is two hours after the rice is done, it’s still perfect.
