Savory Turkey Cutlets
Turkey is commonly seen prepared with fruity or sweet sauces. Try this savory dish for a change-up from the normal routine.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 lb turkey breast cutlets
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs dried chives
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place dry mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a plastic bag, shaking to combine contents.
2. Open and insert cutlets, close again and shake gently to coat cutlets with seasonings.
3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
4. Add turkey and cook, turning periodically until turkey is cooked and no longer pink.
5. Sprinkle with lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and chives. Cook turning frequently for 3 additional minutes.
