Season of Skimpiness: It’s Coming!

It is coming. That dreaded season of skimpy clothing. Are you ready for it? Do not worry. There is time, but you must start now. In approximately fourteen weeks from now you are going to want to wear less. The weather alone will force you into this unless you do not mind sweating, which I absolutely despise. Being in the northeastern part of the U.S. I am more of a cold weather person than a warm weather person. I can better tolerate the sub zero temperatures than the sizzling, scorching 80s. Yes, that is really HOT for us up here. I know some of you in the southern states are laughing right now, but you just do not understand that we open our pools in 60-degree weather and the kids are diving in. When our southern friends come to visit they are asking for a sweater. We absolutely melt when we come to see you.

To get ready for the weather that is coming up most of us will want to do our best to look really good. If you are not willing to diet in full force there are some ways to help you shed a few pounds without feeling the deprivation that comes with an out and out diet plan. Try cutting out all fast food and soda. Try to drink more water instead and munch on vegetables. By just doing these two things alone you will notice a difference. Fast food and soda intake alone piles on the pounds. When I first started dieting I did just those two things and I was amazed at what took place. I lost weight the very first week. The more weight that I lost and the more I moved, the better I felt. It got me started on my dieting and fitness journey in a big way. I vowed that year not to go another season covered up and sweating. Although I have not regained any of the weight that I lost, there is still more that I would like to lose. Remember, little changes make a big difference.
