While I was bargain hunting for the dogs, cats, and other family pets, I stumbled across some neat sales items their humans might like too.
For Dog Lovers:
In the Company of Dogs has some of my favorite things. Their Canine Coat of Arms door mat is now a whopping 57% off, making it $12.99. The design is great, but what I like most about this item is the Latin on it, which translated says: “Always loyal, forever faithful” and “Love me, love my dog.” (I can’t get it, though, because the cat would feel slighted!)
I’m a proud owner of this next suggestion. (I also gave one to five of Murph’s good dog friend parents plus one to Wayne as Christmas presents.) They’re Dog Bone T-Shirts from Personal Creations. They are shirts with a dog bone either centered in the middle or in the left corner that specifies your dog’s name and your relationship to him/her. For example, mine reads “Murphy’s Mom.” They’re normally $19.95, but are on sale now for $14.98.
For Cat People:
Amazon.com has a couple of cat lover books on sale for between 22-32% off. For the cat lover with a sense of humor: Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader Cat Lover’s Companion ($10.15). For the sentimentalist: Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover’s Soul: Stories of Feline Affection, Mystery and Charm ($10.17).
A spin off of a popular human catch phrase graces this “Got Mice?” T-shirt from PetSmart. Witty, simple white on black, and half off. Now $12.50.
For Fish Fans:
I would like to have an aquarium someday, and this looks kind of neat. It’s wall art and a fish aquarium all in one! Frame a Fish Aquarium – Fish Tank. Amazon.com’s currently offering it at 21% off, or $119 down from $149.95.
There’s also the Mini Koi Pond from Casual Living. Down 43% from $34.95 to $19.99. It has a koi-shaped base with a blown glass bowl on top for betta or goldfish.
For the Birders:
The Opus Inc Classic Tube Bird Feeder offers six feeding station with perches. Everyone wins with this feeder. They have an inviting place to linger while they dine, and you spend under $5 to provide a convenient café. (Currently 10% off, going for $3.70.)
