Shopping with Grandma and Grandpa Part III

While my daughter, mother-in-law, and I were picking out shoes for my daughter, grandpa and my son were busy finding some dress pants for daddy; grandpa felt that he (daddy) must be in need of some new “khaki” pants to wear to work (my husband typically wears jeans to work without issue). Still grandpa wanted to buy my husband some new pants so he and my son had the sales woman collecting many different options while my son apparently entertained her with his antics. After a quick nursing break for my daughter and after grandma touched base with grandpa; my daughter, grandma, and I went to my favorite children’s boutique to find some clothes for the grandchildren too! I knew that my son could use an extra pair of jeans and a few shirts and that my daughter needed some tights and leggings. I started browsing while grandma happily held my daughter. There were many items I would have loved to get for my daughter but did not want to be too excessive so I selected a couple of pairs of tights; one in black and the other in taupe, a pair of black leggings, and nice cotton dress that could be worn with tights, leggings, or jeans. Out of the blue my mother-in-law asked if my daughter needed any pajamas. I never even thought to get her pajamas but knew that she could definitely use a pair (especially since she typically wears onsies to bed). The had a very fun “Once Upon a Time” set of girly cotton pajamas and my daughter excitedly reached for them and demanded to hold onto them for the remainder of our time in the store. It seems that she really only wanted pajamas! I was pleased that she would have more tights to add to her winter wardrobe!
