Signs for Your Business

When I first began my business the last thing I considered were the number of signs I would need. Now, not every business needs several signs but all businesses will need at least one sign. My business offers different workshops, classes and events. These workshops, classes and events are not conducted in my home so I need a sign for each event or class to put up at different establishments. I also need banners for the events my partner and I host. I cannot tell you how many times one of us has said, “We will need a sign.” Or “We will need a banner for that.”

Since both my partner and I pay attention to detail and want everything stamped with our name to be well made and present a certain appearance; our signs became a matter of importance. We have tried several companies and got several freebies. We were not always disappointed as much as not impressed with quality or color or options. Having been blessed enough to do product reviews because of my writing and blogging, I came across an opportunity with Build a Sign.com. Build a Sign graciously offered sample signs for a review. Of course I took the opportunity as I have an event coming up this spring that needed a banner. With the cost of banners and being unaffected by the quality I’ve seen so far, free was a great option.

Upon visiting the Build a Sign site, I realized I was working with a company that was going to provide quality work. I had the ability to upload any logos or pictures at no extra charge to my signs. I could choose size, material, and many design options. It was quite a bit of fun designing the banner for my event and a jumbo card for my daughter’s birthday. I also designed a sign for a workshop on corrugated plastic and one on aluminum. I kind of went a bit sign crazy and tried everything I could think to do. Some of my signs will only be used once since they reflect specific events and dates so I a need a good sign company. I wanted to see what they could bring to the table. They brought a fun and easy sign design making process. Once the signs are designed you simply pay and submit them. Then you wait for your signs to be delivered. This is where I wondered if I was going to be disappointed. I am also impatient. I am like a kid at Christmas when I order things for my business. Thankfully, the signs were shipped so quickly I didn’t even get a chance to play games with myself not to think about it.

It is at this point I have an unreasonable complaint. The pack their signs so well that it made it hard for me to tear into them like it was Christmas morning. The care they put into packing so not even a speck of shipping dust could enter was remarkable. It also delayed my final jump for joy and squeal of excitement as the signs were impressive! Finally, signs and banners that make me look like I’m in business. My partner and I are very happy with the finished products and will be making several trips back to Build a Sign as our business increases.
