Simple Healthy Breakfast

Begin the New Year right by starting off the day with a low fat breakfast. If you are starting off the year with Weight Watchers you will be especially interested in this recipe. It is from Weight Watchers and it is only three points. It is also delicious. Did I say it was only 3 points? Three points! Of course three points is not worth eating tasteless food. Weight Watchers is happy to deliver tasty recipes that will help you stay on track. I love that most of the ingredients you probably already have on hand. There is no buying some crazy spice or adding some crazy weight loss supplement. Simply go in your fridge follow the directions and you have a breakfast you will enjoy. What could be simpler?

Breakfast Frittatas

Ingredients:

3 large eggs

3 egg whites

2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Salt to taste

Cannola Oil spray

2 Tbsp skim milk

Instructions:

Whisk together the eggs, egg whites, the skim milk, 1 Tbsp of the

Parmesan cheese and the salt.

Preheat your grill at medium heat.

Spray a large non-stick frying pan with cannola oil, and add the egg mixture.

Cook without stirring for about 10 minutes on low heat till the bottom is set and the top is just a bit loose.

Sprinkle the top of the cooked egg mixture with the rest of the Parmesan cheese.

Spray cannola oil on an oven proof tray and place the cooked egg mixture onto it. Put the tray under the grill till the top is cooked.

Cut into 4 wedges and serve hot, with a zero points salad ( if you are not familiar with the Weight Watchers’ points system, “zero points” means, a negligible amount of fat so you can eat it without guilt and add it to your regular meals and snacks.)
