It’s a silly name but a serious resource. This site has just about everything you are looking for as a single parent, all in one place.
There are blogs about single parenting, covering a whole range of topics from single parent statistics to finding assistance. This site also has information about understanding your rights as a single parent when it comes to custody and visitation and also plenty of parenting tips and advice.
Every single parent needs help from time to time, whether it’s help with a gas bill or finding financial aid for college and this site will help you with all of those things. The government assistance page lists everything from WIC to housing assistance. It may not give you all the information you need but it’s a good starting point.
Poke around the site a little, it may have exactly the information that you or someone you know needs. Tell other single parents about it. It’s wonderful that someone has pulled the resources available together, in one place, to make them easy to find.

Talk with people you know, most people know someone who at one time or another needed assistance so they can point you in the right direction. Don’t be embarrassed about needing help, everyone does at some point, take the help that is available and when you are in a better position, help someone else.
