So This is Why They Split

Yes, I know he doesn’t know I am alive. And yes, I know that even if he did it’s unlikley that he would give me more than the time of day (if that). Still, I joined millions of other women around the world in breathing a sigh of relief when h-h-h-HOTtie George Clooney split with uber-gorgeous model Sarah Larson a few weeks back.

While some had them pegged to walk down the aisle together, confirmed bachelor Clooney had other ideas. According to reports, the “Leatherheads” star was the one who ended the relationship with the stunning Larson.

So what was the problem?

Obviously, it wasn’t her looks.

Well, if you believe a new report by a reputable British newspaper the mega-private Clooney got fed up with his ladylove’s loose lips.

According to sources close to the couple, the “Ocean’s Thirteen” star dumped his former cocktail waitress gal pal because she told one too many stories about him.

“George is very protective of his private life,” says the source. “He started feeling like she had spoken too much about the relationship and that all she wanted was fame.”

Funny, I don’t remember Larson giving “exclusive” interviews to tabloids, even after she sustained multiple injuries during a motorcycle accident that occurred when Clooney was driving. And I don’t remember her blabbing on the red carpet when she scored the title of first girlfriend ever to attend the Oscar’s with Clooney. But maybe I wasn’t watching close enough.

Adding to Clooney’s ire was the fact that he reportedly felt Larson was exploiting their relationship to advance her modeling career.

Again, I am not privy to Larson’s resume, but I don’t remember her landing more than a few runway gigs in time following her hook up with Clooney. What’s more, those jobs weren’t for big name designers like Donna Karan or Ralph Lauren. In fact, I would venture to guess that she could have easily landed them on her own given her rail-thin figure and exotic looking face.

But, hey, what do I know.

To me George Clooney is a self-confirmed lifelong bachelor who prefers chillin with his boys at his Italian villa than dealing with girls and the stress that comes with dating in Hollywood. I don’t think the guy will ever marry again.

What do you think?
