It is that time of year again. The contest has begun for the 2008 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame. If you have never been published, and always dreamed of having your layouts published, now might just be the time for you to get involved.
If you need more inspiration and help, the December issue of Creating Keepsakes will be filled with some. This is traditional and will help your entries thrive. There are so many different rules to adhere to.
In light of the latest CK controversy, please be sure that your entries for Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame are exclusively and completely made by you. This includes the photographs. Yes, you have to be the photographer. This is a rule, and an amazing scrapbooker who one the coveted 2007 Hall of Fame, just got disqualified because of one photograph. So please, be sure you use your own material.
There are all types of tips and suggestions for putting your entry together, and they can be found and accessed all over the Internet.
Visiting the Creating Keepsakes website will also allow you to take a look at the 2007 winners, much of their work and even listen to their winning phone calls, when Lisa Bearnson calls to tell them they are winners. A few of them even made me cry.
If you are really serious about entering this year, you can visit the website to download the entry form, get the official rules, get pointers and tips for planning your entry and get the exact format they wish you to include for your supply lists.
The 2008 Hall of Fame winners will win $1,500, as well as a huge stash of wonderful scrapbooking supplies. Your 10 official entries and entry form are due by February 11, 2008.
