Many people want to lose weight, many want the help of meal plans, fitness ideas and goal setting, but many people can’t afford the price that comes with those things. Last January I stumbled upon this wonderful site, Sparkpeople.com, and have been hooked on it ever since. Okay, not for me, because honestly, I don’t need to lose weight. I would love to lose five pounds, but according to my doctor, I don’t need to. So, I am not loving this site for me. I love it for my husband, who gained the baby weight with me during both pregnancies, and has yet to lose it.
Sparkpeople.com is a weight loss site, a FREE one! It doesn’t get much better than that. The best part about it: it lets you track everything you eat, every bit of exercise you do and it gives you meal plans if you wish. Plus, there are forums where members can go to talk to each other about their weight loss struggles, strategies, motivations, etc.
With Sparkpeople.com, you must register, but it is free. Once you are registered you can begin your weightloss experience. You will answer questions about exercise; you will put into your log the days you want to exercise and what you want to do. Sparkpeople calculates how many calories you burn. Every week you can print out a meal plan, meals that are easy to follow and easy to make. You can even substitute foods in each meal if you wish, all at the click of your mouse. The meals are all portioned out, so you know how much to put on your plate and you know how many calories are in each.
Sparkpeople.com does it all for you, for free. No points to follow, no expensive pre-made meals to buy, you just put in your information, and you are ready to lose weight!
