Spending Time With My Sister Part VI

On day five our our visit, we had planned to go for a walk around and older more affluent neighborhood and take some autumn inspired photos. Unfortunately when we awoke the next morning it was raining and much colder. Not exactly the ideal weather we were hoping we would have. So we modified our plans a little bit. We ate breakfast and did our dance cardio workout. Once the baby was good and fed. We made a picnic lunch of sandwiches, Greek yogurt, and grapes, and headed off to another mall that had a couple maternity boutiques.

This mall was quite different from the malls back home and had several shops that I had never heard of which was a good sign. We walked through the mall at our normal quick pace browsing several boutiques as we went. Soon my little niece decided she was hungry and we found a nursing room so that she could have a snack. After a twenty minute nursing session, we were back to browsing. I tried on a few maternity items none of which I liked enough to actually buy. Next we stopped to eat our picnic lunch (healthy food and the mall never seem to coincide). After eating lunch, we decided that we had had enough of the mall.

Our next destination was an organic ice cream shoppe that specializes in interesting flavor combinations (like lavender and blueberry). We selected a trio of flavors and the three of us enjoyed some wholesome and very tasty ice cream.

Even though it was still raining, we decided to take a short walk in one of the most beautiful old neighborhoods in the city. The autumn colors were spectacular even though it was a bit chilly and wet. We really enjoyed looking at the elaborately remodeled older houses. Our short walk came to and end thanks to the rain and my sister mentioned that she wanted a chocolate chip cookie.

We headed back to her apartment to relax. I made my sister my chocolate chip cookies which we all enjoyed with a glass of milk.
