Spending Too Much Time Online?

Recently when browsing over the forums, I noticed that there was a thread from a lady who was having a relationship issue due to the time that she spends on the computer each day.

Her husband (or mate) was unhappy because he felt that she was spending way too much time online instead of on their relationship.

Only until recently could technology become a problem for a couple. However I think that it could very easily happen. Some people do spend a great deal of time suffering the web.

Hours can be spent chatting or just browsing the web before you even realize how much time that you have actually been connected to the online world.

Some people worry why their mate is online for such a great deal of time. We are not ignorant to the relationships that begin on chat sites and chat lines. We are not ignorant to the pornography and other inappropriate findings that some people choose to get involved in. With all of the news and stories, a partner may have a right to question what you spend all of those hours doing online.

Just as with some other things, people can become hooked to the online world. The time spent online may be taking away from the time that you could be spending with your mate or with your family. When this happens, a real problem may exist. Your mate may not be just nosing around.

If your mate confronts you with the amount of time that you are spending online, stop and think about the hours that you are putting in and try to discover what is being left undone due to your suffering.

If you are using an hour of your personal space time or if you are working then no harm is likely done.
